Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Is there a refund policy?
Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Refund requests are handled through Lemon Squeezy support — reach out from the receipt email you receive at checkout.
How many devices can I use Treetor on?
There is no device limit. Sign in to the same account on every machine where you want to use Treetor.
Does Treetor work offline?
Yes. Treetor is a local desktop app and your subscription is verified locally, so you can write, edit, and export without a network connection.
What happens when my 30-day trial ends?
If you have not subscribed, Treetor switches to read-only mode. Your files remain intact on your machine and you can still read and export them — only editing, creating, and importing pause until you subscribe.
What if my subscription lapses?
Same as an expired trial: Treetor goes read-only, your files stay on your machine, and you keep full read and export access. Resubscribe at any time to resume editing.
Where are my files stored?
On your own machine, in your normal user folder. Treetor is local-first; your trees do not live in our cloud.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Yes. Export to Markdown, Word, PDF, or Treetor Pack stays available in read-only mode, so you can always get your trees out.
